This one-and-a-half day webinar will cover the key state and local tax issues technology companies are facing. Carley Roberts is partnering with Zal Kumar (Mayer Brown) on August 10 to present on the topic, “Top 10 Technology Litigation Cases – Both Transactional and Income.” In this session, they will discuss the top cases of the past year that are most relevant to technology companies.
Robert Merten III, Yoni Fix (Reed Smith) and Jodie Scott (KPMG) will present on the topic, “Specific Sourcing/Apportionment Issues for Tech Companies for Income Tax Purposes” on August 10. This session will provide a review of where the states are at with their sourcing and apportionment methodologies, along with tips to best deal with the states’ approaches.
Breann Robowski is partnering with Mark LoRusso (Ryan) on August 11 to present on the topic, “Mitigating Tech Industry Property Taxes and Tax Incentive Incentive Issues.” The presenters in this session will address valuation issues faced by the technology sector and strategies for fair valuation.
Jeffrey Vesely will participate in the “Ask the Experts” panel on August 11. Attendees will be able to question practitioners, and the panelists will discuss trends they expect to see in 2022 and beyond.
