SALT partners Zachary Atkins and Evan Hamme will speak at COST’s upcoming Spring Conference.
This three-and-a-half day conference will bring multistate tax professionals together and will provide updates on key SALT issues and insights regarding state tax trends and opportunities. Join Zack and Evan as they speak on the following panels:
Zack will speak on the panel “Big Gain Hunting” along with Jeremy Abrams (Foley Lardner) and Michell Newmark (Blank Rome) on Wednesday, May 1, from 4-4:50pm. This session will discuss the evolution of apportionment theories including the use of investee apportionment to source gains.
Evan will speak on the panel “Border Crossings: State Tax Complexities for Multinational Businesses” on Thursday, May 2, from 9:40 – 10:30am. The speakers in this session will discuss the state tax complexities associated with a global business including the state taxation of foreign source income, state-specific considerations for foreign entities and state tax implications of global corporate structures.
