COST’s 52nd Annual Meeting and Webinar

Pillsbury SALT partner Carley Roberts will present during COST’s 52nd Annual Meeting on October 19 in Las Vegas, NV.

The COST Annual Meeting is being held as a hybrid meeting with both in-person and virtual sessions from October 17 – 20, 2021. It covers all types of state and local taxes that business taxpayers are confronted with today, and provides updates on key SALT issues.

Carley is partnering with Steve Kranz (McDermott Will & Emery) to present on the topic, “An Update on Digital Services Taxes.” The speakers will analyze the state legislative proposals to impose a new type of gross receipts tax on digital advertisements and digital data collection, they will discuss the differences between the state-level taxes and the national DSTs, and they will address the ongoing litigation to invalidate the Maryland DST.
